LessMB is a browser-based file compression service. In normal use, your images, videos, and PDF files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to LessMB servers. This privacy information explains what we process, what we do not collect, and how third-party analytics may be used to improve the website.

Local File Processing

File compression runs on your device through browser technologies such as Web Workers, WebAssembly, and browser media APIs. The files you select remain in your current browser session during compression. LessMB does not receive, store, review, or share the contents of files you process with the tool.

Information We May Collect

We may collect limited website usage information, including:

  • Pages visited, referring pages, approximate session duration, and basic interaction events
  • General device, browser, operating system, language, and approximate region information
  • Technical events such as page performance, browser errors, and feature usage
  • Messages and contact details you choose to send to us by email

Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect or upload your selected files or file contents.
  • We do not require account registration to use the compression tools.
  • We do not collect payment information because the current service is free.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and Analytics

LessMB may use essential local storage or similar technologies for site functionality. Optional Google Analytics is loaded only after the applicable consent signal is available from the Google Privacy & messaging system. Analytics helps us understand which tools are useful, detect broken pages, and improve the experience. You can manage your choices through the privacy settings link below or your browser settings.

Data Retention
